Li Luchun, named Yijia, is a national-level arts and crafts artist, and a senior engineer and professional potter from the Gulong Kiln Art Center. Born in 1966 in the art of calligraphy and painting in the capital of ceramics in China, he studied at Nanjing Normal University, majoring in engineering and art. Joined the Chinese Calligraphy Association in 1986, systematically studied calligraphy, and appreciated famous calligraphy and painting. After entering the 1990s, he transferred his calligraphy and painting skills to the art of purple sand pottery carving. The pottery carving works pay attention to the line drawing changes of freehand brushwork. The blade is sharp, strong and simple, and has a strong literati purple sand color. Under the tutelage of Shanghai seal engraver Han Tiangao, Gao Tucha Yuankang, his works have made breakthroughs in constant changes and have won numerous awards in various competitions across the country, and have been collected by museums and collectors at home and abroad.
